Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 March 2026

This privacy policy explains how DoneRight (“the App”), developed and published by Overpass Apps Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what information is and is not collected.

DoneRight is a job photo documentation app designed for UK tradespeople. It helps plumbers, electricians, builders and other trades professionals photograph and document their work with before, during and after shots, generate PDF reports, and create social media images.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Photos and Job Data (Stored Locally Only)

The App allows you to take and store photos of your jobs, along with associated job details such as descriptions, dates and client information you choose to enter. All of this data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. It is never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service. We do not have access to your photos or job data.

1.2 Location Data

With your permission, the App uses your device’s GPS to auto-fill job addresses. Location data is used solely for this purpose and is stored locally on your device alongside the relevant job record. We do not transmit your location data to any server.

1.3 Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous crash and error reports. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crashlytics may collect:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • Crash stack traces and error logs
  • A unique installation identifier (not linked to your identity)

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. For more information, see Firebase’s privacy documentation.

1.4 Purchase Information (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and may collect:

  • An anonymous user identifier
  • Purchase history and subscription status
  • Device and platform information

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address or any personal contact details from the App. For more information, see RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

DoneRight is designed with a local-first, privacy-respecting approach. We want to be clear about what we do not do:

  • We do not require you to create an account or log in
  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or any personal contact information
  • We do not upload your photos, job data or documents to any server or cloud service
  • We do not use advertising or advertising trackers
  • We do not use analytics services beyond crash reporting
  • We do not sell, share or trade any user data with third parties

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Data Storage and Retention

All job data, photos and generated documents (PDF reports, social media images) are stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data and no ability to retrieve it.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted by your device’s operating system. We do not retain any copy of your data.

Anonymous crash report data held by Firebase Crashlytics is retained in accordance with Google’s data retention policies.

5. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability

In practice, because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is very little data for us to provide, correct or delete. The anonymous crash data collected by Crashlytics cannot be linked to you as an individual.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

6. Children’s Privacy

DoneRight is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App in a way that has resulted in data being collected, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
